About

Grande Ronde Symphony is the oldest continuously operating community orchestra in the state of Oregon. Beginning in 1946 at part of Eastern Oregon University. In 2015 the GRSA separated from EOU and began fully funding the Music Director of the symphony and several other arts-related programing.

Mission of the Grande Ronde Symphony Association is to support and promote the ongoing music programs of the Grande Ronde Symphony Orchestra, the Grande Ronde Student Symphony and Youth Programs, and the Gande Ronde Schamber and Small Ensemble Series, thereby enhancing the quality of life in our region.
